While you are reading this, the watchmakers at Halda are replacing the first sapphire crystal of the Space Module with the Hesalite crystal – a space proven material. Whenever an owner of the Space Module is going to space Halda will exchange the sapphire, and now it is time again.

Halda Watch Co is proud to announce that the Halda Space Discovery Limited Edition has received the Red Dot Design Award. The award is one of the most prestigious design awards one can ever get, often referred to as the ‘Nobel Prize of Design’.
We have been very pleased to continuously receive feedback from astronauts who are using the Halda watch as an instrument for research on a regular basis. Consequently the Space Module software has been updated according to their latest findings and demands.
Recently the popular TV-show Gran Turismo from TV8 visited our watch factory and we got the opportunity to guide the viewers through the manufacturing process of the Halda Space Discovery as well as the history of Halda. I also got to test-drive a unique 1950’s racing car from Veritas equipped with a Halda timing instrument from the same period.
We are proud to announce that Halda have reached an agreement with one of the world’s absolute most luxurious retailer of watches; the newly opened, and spectacular boutique, solely focused on exclusive and exotic timepieces at the flagship store of El Corte Inglés in Madrid, Spain.
Halda Watch Co. is invited to exhibit the Halda Space Discovery at the Gran Turismo Expo 2011 – Selected Car Show. The expo will feature the latest sports and luxury cars from manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar, as well as vintage classics, along with the Halda watch.
Ever since the presentation of the first modern Halda took place earlier this year the public attention and interest have been remarkable. We are both humbled and honored by this. However, a vast majority has importantly expressed a desire to learn more about the watch.
