Today, April 19, Michael Persson from AkzoNobel’s business unit (BU) Pulp and Performance Chemicals will hold his inaugural lecture as adjunct professor at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals (formerly Eka Chemicals) has developed a new business strategy and management team that became effective April 1, 2012. The name change reflects a move of focus within the business strategy, in which technologies and global markets form the basis for future growth.

Eka Chemicals, the AkzoNobel Pulp and Paper Chemicals business will increase prices across its entire European Paper and Bleaching Chemicals product range with immediate effect, or as contracts permit. Depending on the product type, increases will range from 5 % to 30 %, as raw material availability and costs dictate.
